Jack Herer was created in the Netherlands in the mid-90s by the Sensi Seeds company. The Jack Herer is a cross of Northern Lights #5, Shiva Skunk, and Haze. Jack Herer has a unique smell and taste with a slight hint of pine. This strain is known to act quickly with a strong head rush followed by a sense of relaxation without getting stuck. The buds have pretty green tones with vivid orange pistils scattered throughout. This batch has 20.29% cannabinoids with 1.95% terps.
Fun fact: This strain was named to honor the memory of Jack Herer the man, sometimes called the “Emperor of Hemp”, was an American cannabis rights activist and the author of The Emperor Wears No Clothes. Jack Herer was created in the Netherlands in the mid-90s, later Dutch pharmacies recognized it as a medical-grade strain. The Jack Herer Cup is held in Amsterdam, Colombia, Jamaica, Las Vegas, Oklahoma City and Thailand each year to honor the Worldwide Cannabis Legalization Movement that he helped start.
Jack Herer is a classic strain. It holds a small place in my heart with Bubba, Green Crack, Chem dawg and OG Kush. The Jack Herer was one of the first strains I smoked with a name. Opening up the baggie I got a nice whiff of an orangey lemon scent. The buds in my bag were very pretty and photogenic. When I smoked the Jack Herer by Harvest made me feel creative and happy. I spent the day working on designs for a project I’m working on. I love the way this strain helps me space out into my creative zone.
